2. Data We Collect

Website

• Contact information (email address) when you submit a support request
• Information you provide in the support form (app selection, issue description)
• Technical access data (IP address, browser type, date and time of the request), processed by our hosting provider to deliver the site and prevent abuse

Klaus Says No App

• Photos: Outfit photos you take or upload for analysis. Photos are processed by AI and automatically deleted within 24 hours.
• Device ID: A randomly generated identifier stored on your device.
• Usage data: City and club selections, verdict results, check history, timestamps.
• Purchase data: Apple transaction IDs and stamp balances for in-app purchases.

HTML Signature Max Mac App

HTML Signature Max collects no data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

• On your Mac only: Your signatures, the details you enter in the form, your settings and the app's backups are stored on your Mac, in the app's own folder and in Mail's signature files that you allow the app to use. If Mail syncs your signatures with iCloud, Mail itself copies them to your iCloud account, as it does with signatures you create in Mail.
• Preview: To show the images in your signature, the app loads them from the addresses in your signature, as Mail does.
• Image check: When you enter the address of a logo or photo, the app downloads that image once to check its size and whether it stays visible in dark mode.
• Purchases: Buying or restoring HTML Signature Max Pro goes through Apple's App Store. We don't receive your name, Apple Account or payment details; the app only learns whether Pro is unlocked.
• Diagnostics report: Help ▸ Copy Diagnostics Report creates a report only when you choose it and copies it to your clipboard. You decide whether to send it to us. It contains no signature content, no signature names and no full email addresses. Reports you send are handled like support requests.

Like any request on the internet, loading an image sends your IP address and basic technical information to the server that hosts the image (usually your own website). We don't receive any of this information.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the outfit analysis service (Klaus Says No)
• To process and verify in-app purchases
• To maintain your check history within the app
• To respond to support requests, including diagnostics reports you choose to send from HTML Signature Max
• To operate this website and protect it against abuse

4. Third-Party Services

• Vercel (website hosting): This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA), which processes technical access data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• Resend (email delivery): Messages sent through the support form are delivered to us by email via Resend (USA).
• OpenRouter / AI Services: Photos are sent to AI services for outfit analysis and not permanently stored.
• Supabase: Cloud database and storage for app data. Servers located in the EU.
• Apple (StoreKit): Processes in-app purchases (Klaus Says No, HTML Signature Max).

5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

• Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): To provide the services you requested
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): When you voluntarily submit photos or contact forms
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): To improve our services and prevent abuse

6. Data Retention

• Photos: Automatically deleted within 24 hours
• Check history: Retained until you delete the app or request deletion
• Device ID: Retained until you delete the app or request deletion
• Support requests: Retained for up to 2 years

8. No Tracking

We do not use cookies for tracking purposes on this website. We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, or any other tracking technologies. We respect Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals. Fonts are served from our own domain, so your browser does not contact Google or any other font provider.
